The love for a territory and for one’s work also embraces solidarity. This is the case with the renewed partnership between Isola Bella Gioielli and LAD, the Catania-based association that provides assistance to young cancer patients and their families.

On the occasion of the inauguration of WonderLAD, the house dedicated to hospitality and activities for children – an ambitious project involving partners and public and private sponsors from around the world – the Sicilian brand has created a Jewelry Design workshop dedicated to the little ones, perfectly in line with the art therapy philosophy that has always been the mission of the association.

The workshop will be led by Giuseppe Argurio: from the children’s ideas to working with wax, unique and personal design creations will come to life. The goal is to create a silver jewel produced by micro casting, conceived and made by the children and then transformed into precious metal, finally enameled in true Isola Bella style.

Already in 2017, Isola Bella dedicated to LAD The Tree of Wishes, a small solidarity charm – which features the colors and symbol of the association – which funded LAD projects with part of the proceeds from sales. It will be a pride on Wednesday, November 20 – at the ribbon-cutting of the house, scheduled precisely on the thirtieth anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child – to take part in a Wish that has come true: a project of love, solidarity, and professionalism.
