Over 2.5 billion children immunized in 122 countries: these are the results achieved so far by the PolioPlus program promoted by Rotary International in the fight against polio.
The initiative is led by the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI), which includes Rotary International, UNICEF, the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and governments from around the world, with the support of many other partners.
It is precisely through Rotary – which relies on the passion of its members to raise awareness, raise funds, and encourage governments to donate to and support polio eradication efforts – that Isola Bella Gioielli has embraced the cause and recently received a certificate of merit that fills the brand, always attentive to social responsibility, with pride and hope.
